The bottle describes this as an amber beer but it looks rather like a Hoegaarden Grand Cru(blond and cloudy) This is a refreshing beer with a delicate balance a light vanilla flavor on the tongue. Its the type of beer you could drink all day long on a warm summers day.The old Hainaut beer style of Saison was produced at every brewery in the region around the beginning of the last century. In homage to the founder of the Brewery who brewed this beer for the "Cayoteux" (local quarrymen), the tradition of this refreshing sweetish amber ale was revived in 1982. Its density makes it a beer for special occasions and one to enjoy during your favourite moments. Serve chilled but not frozen between 4°C and 6°C.
