One court stopped the makers from using a Dom Perignon-type label. Another hearing is due concerning the shape of the bottle. Why the fuss? The beer is brewed in Belgium, but sent to Champagne to have champagne yeast added for a secondary fermentation as for champagne. The result is a clear colour with very fine bubbles. If served very cold it gives an illusion of being grape-based. As it warms up, its beer-based origins become more apparent. It is much liked.
